Student Housing Business presented Innovator Awards to student housing owners, developers, operators, architecture firms, and universities for excellence in student housing properties, on- and off-campus development, marketing, and operations. Spaces was recognized at the awards ceremony for their development of The Walk, a 4-story, 251-bed new student housing development serving the students of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. The Walk redefined the University of Alabama student housing experience with posh, boutique-style apartments uniquely created for students with style, offering the richest student apartment amenities in Tuscaloosa. With rates among the highest in the market, The Walk was able to achieve comparable occupancy rates in line with their competitors.
